Paid Traffic For Beginners: The First $300
How to spend a small budget buying data instead of burning it on hope.
Your first ad budget is tuition, not marketing. Spend it to answer three questions: does this audience react, does this message land, does this page convert?
The setup. One audience, three creatives with genuinely different angles, one landing page, one conversion event. Small daily budget, seven days, no edits.
Reading the results. Compare cost per click and cost per lead across creatives. A creative with cheap clicks and no leads has an audience-message mismatch. Cheap leads and no sales means the offer or page is the problem, not the ads.
The rule that saves budgets: never change two variables at once, and never judge before the platform has delivered at least 50 conversions or seven full days — whichever comes first.
